Membership in ACCA

The Alberta Community & Co-operative Association has two membership categories: Full Member and Auxiliary Member.

The Alberta Community & Co-operative Association welcomes, as Full Members, all organizations or individuals incorporated or registered to do business in Alberta on a co-operative basis or who support the objectives of ACCA. Each Full Member is a voting member and is eligible to sit on the Board of Directors. Choosing a class of membership is on a voluntary basis and you are free to choose the level of support to ACCA that best fits with your organization.

ACCA has five classes of membership:

  • Annual membership dues of $500 to $5,000 – one delegate
  • Annual membership dues of $5,001 to $10,000 – two delegates
  • Annual membership dues of $10,001 to $15,000 – three delegates
  • Annual membership dues of $15,001 to $20,000 – four delegates
  • Annual membership dues of over $20,000 – five delegates

Auxillary Membership – Auxiliary Members are individuals and organizations who support the mission and goals of the ACCA but are not eligible for Full Membership.

Auxiliary Members do not have a vote, nor may they be members of the Board of Directors, but they may participate in all other ACCA activities.

ACCA is proud to be a full member of the Canadian Co-operative Association (CCA). Becoming a member of ACCA will also provide you a link to CCA.
