About this Event
A two-and-a-half-day “boot-camp” for groups and individuals interested in starting a co-operative enterprise.
Featuring interactive sessions, presentations, and hands-on work, participants will learn about the co-operative business structure, the development process, and more. Learning modules include:
Introduction to co-ops: the original social enterprise
Making strategic decisions to accomplish social and financial goals
Building small business strengths: legal, financial, and insurance
Marketing your co-op advantage
This session also includes small group and one-on-one coaching with experts to develop co-op business plans and clear road-maps to get started on the right foot.
