The Gathering of Alberta Co-operatives is an exciting multi-day conference developed for everyone involved and associated with all aspects of the co-operative and credit union sector. It is when members and directors, CEOs and managers from co-operatives large and small come together. Taking place during National Co-operative Week in the rural setting of Stony Plain, Alberta; the conference starts bright and early on Wednesday 17th October and runs through to the afternoon of Thursday 18th October.
Shaped around three core themes of ‘Lead’, ‘Grow’ and ‘Share’, attendees will experience sessions and workshops on innovative co-operative approaches lead by sector experts and leaders. Over the course of the conference, our speakers will inspire new ideas and share practical elements for co-operatives to take back to their communities, drive success and enhance Alberta’s co-operative advantage.
