Did you know, that the Cooperative Youth Leadership Program also helps professional development in adults?
Bestowed with real responsibility to shape the program, volunteers get to develop skills such as planning & facilitating sessions; public speaking; team building; communication; leadership and conflict management.
By sharing their passionate knowledge and experience, they get our youth excited about improving their local communities by joining co-operatives, credit unions & agricultural organizations.
Volunteer Fast Facts
In 2017, 44 volunteers gave more than 6,160 hours to our youth program through their prep and staff time at our week-long programs.
Our Volunteer Staff come from a variety of backgrounds:

Students & alumni!
Once a volunteer has been accepted into the program, they must pass a criminal record check, have current first aid level C certification, and be available for on-site training at the Goldeye Centre from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28, 2019.
