“Good Governance Matters” Course by Co-operatives First

ACCA is pleased to announce this opportunity to attend Co-operatives First’s exceptional course, Good Governance Matters, in conjunction with the 2026 Annual Alberta Co-operatives Conference which starts with an evening reception on the 17th, and the full conference commencing on the 18th.

So, while you, your co-op’s board members, or other interested parties are in town for the conference, make sure to register for the Good Governance Matters course as well.

The course, led by Co-operatives First’s co-op governance expert and Director of Education, Kyle White, will introduce you to the foundational concepts of co-op governance and using real examples, you will uncover the practices that determine whether a co-op succeeds.

The course will take place in-person at Homestead Investment Co-operative in downtown Edmonton at 10 a.m. on November 17th. The cost of enrolment is $299, which includes lunch and refreshments. And, if you're signed up for the ACCA Conference, you can sign up with a discounted rate of $199.
