On June 3, join leaders from co-operatives across Alberta for the inaugural Co-operative Sector Assembly — an important in-person gathering focused on governance, sector leadership, and the future of Alberta’s co-operative economy.
At a time of growing opportunity around business continuity, local ownership, leadership development, and public awareness, this gathering brings the sector together to reflect on recent momentum, hear leadership perspectives, and discuss what comes next.
Momentum built in 2025, with support from Legacy Builders, members, and key funding partners, generated a strong response across Alberta and beyond. June 3 is an important opportunity to build on that progress together and help shape the next phase of Alberta’s co-operative future.

From Momentum to What Comes Next
While the AGM remains a foundational start to the day for ACCA members, the broader purpose—the Alberta Co-op Sector Assembly — is to bring Alberta’s co-operative sector together—in person—for larger conversations around visibility, leadership, connection, and what comes next for co-operatives across our province.
Recent ACCA-led initiatives helped strengthen visibility, connection, and engagement across Alberta’s co-operative sector. The next phase is about turning momentum into stronger pathways, partnerships, leadership capacity, and long-term coordination. This gathering is designed to help inform that next chapter.
