Momentum, Members, and What’s Next: 2025 AGM Highlights
Legacy Builders, Lasting Impact: A Turning Point for Alberta’s Co-operative Sector
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2024 ACCA Annual General Meeting. Your presence, participation, and support help shape the direction of Alberta’s co-operative sector — and we’re grateful.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our outgoing board members — Sandra Thornton, Matt Sawyer, Heather Williams, and Bart Willmore — for their service, leadership, and dedication.
Curious about who’s stepping into board leadership for the year ahead?

A few highlights from the year:
Legacy Builder Initiative formally launched, recognizing Sustainer Members who give above core dues to fund major sector initiatives.
Brand-new ACCA website launched to improve co-op visibility and connect more Albertans to the model.
Thanks to your support — and the NRED grant — we’re rolling out the Co-op Sector Growth & Connection Tour, Building Tomorrow: A Virtual Cross-Campus and Co-op Awareness Initiative, and the 2025 Alberta Co-operative Conference in November.
As Alberta’s provincial co-operative association, ACCA is proud to serve as a central hub for connection, support, and growth across the province.
Let’s keep building together.
