At the core of the Alberta Community and Co-operative Association (ACCA) is a steadfast commitment to co-operative excellence, encapsulated in our Vision and Mission. These principles guide us towards a future where co-operatives are the bedrock of resilience and prosperity in Alberta.

Alberta co-operatives employ over 15,000 people in every corner of our province and collectively contribute billions of dollars into the Alberta economy. The ACCA would welcome the opportunity to present the business case for collaborative investment in the sector and become a key stakeholder in future budgetary discussions.

To meet priorities identified by its members at the 2020 AGM, ACCA is actively working to scale up its government relations efforts. ACCA members are being asked to contribute to the process by April 12, 2021.
