During the July 30, 2020, meeting, the ACCA Board of Directors approved the YYC Growers and Distributors’ application for membership with ACCA.

YYC Growers and Distributors is a cooperative of urban and rural farmers in the Calgary area, partnering in expertise and infrastructure to distribute nutrient-dense, regeneratively grown food at prices fair to growers and consumers. They have “cracked the code” for the mutually-beneficial, urban-rural relationship, and the dynamic bridge between urban and rural communities will continue to grow.

Their reason for joining ACCA: they would like to be a more visible member of the co-operative community.
