Boosting Productivity for Alberta Manufacturers: New Grant Opportunity Now Open

The Government of Alberta, in collaboration with Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME), has officially launched the Alberta Manufacturing Productivity Grant (AMP Grant). A new funding program designed to help Alberta-based manufacturers improve their productivity and competitiveness.

What’s Available?

The AMP Grant provides up to $30,000 in matching funding, covering up to 50% of eligible project costs. This support can help manufacturers invest in technology, equipment, and processes that enhance their operations' efficiency and competitiveness globally.

Who’s Eligible?

To qualify, manufacturers must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a physical location in Alberta where products or materials are made, refined, refurbished, or processed.

  • Use the grant-funded equipment or technology within Alberta.

  • Employ between 5 and 750 employees.

Open to All Sectors

This opportunity is open to small and medium-sized manufacturers across all sectors. Whether you’re producing consumer goods, food and beverages, industrial parts, or other materials, this grant could support your growth.
