Membership & Engagement Lead
The Alberta Community & Co-operative Association (ACCA) is seeking a Membership & Engagement Lead to help strengthen connection, participation, and visibility across Alberta’s co-operative sector.
Part-Time Contract (24–32+ hours/week)
ACCA operates within a dynamic, project-based environment and is entering a new phase of growth. We are seeking a relationship-driven professional who can lead member engagement, coordinate key events, and execute communications that amplify the co-operative model across Alberta.
The successful candidate will support:
Member services, onboarding, and retention outreach
Communications execution (newsletter, website, social media, campaigns)
Engagement development, including virtual sessions and sector outreach
Coordination of ACCA’s annual conference and related events
Strengthening systems that support membership growth and engagement
This role requires strong project leadership, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in communications, member services, association management, or a related field is required.
This is a part-time contract position with a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week. ACCA anticipates expanding the role to approximately 32 hours per week as project funding and organizational growth allow. Workload flexes seasonally, and some evening and occasional weekend availability is required around events. Edmonton-based candidates are preferred.
