The 50 - 30 Challenge is an initiative co-created by the Government of Canada, civil society, and the private sector that aims to attain gender parity and significant representation (at least 30%) of equity-deserving groups on boards and senior management positions (aka leadership and decision-making roles).

Updating members on how ACCA’s GR team is advocating on their behalf in the Alberta Legislature.

The Co-op Youth Leadership Program will be undergoing a reset in 2023. As strong partners, ACCA and the Goldeye Foundation Society are committed to exploring new avenues for youth leadership and programs.

We are looking for a grounded person with strong critical analysis to join our team as a DEI Practitioner.

It was a great month for raising the awareness of co-operatives! Our government relations team had a trade booth at both the NDP and UCP conventions, and we were able to educate their members on what co-operatives are, how they positively impact local communities, and how co-operatives can fit into their party platforms.

The 2022 Co-op Awards were presented on November 2 as part of The Gathering 2022. Congratulations to all the winners!
