Longtime ACCA Board Chair Retires

Randy Taylor has retired after 12 years on the ACCA board, including ten years as chair. Members, board and staff, have been significantly impacted by his dedicated service and thank him for his leadership and time.

“Randy’s guidance has been invaluable to ACCA. He has been a great leader in advancing and building ACCA strategy and advocating for the co-operative model. His passion, commitment, vision and innovative spirit served our membership well. We are deeply appreciative of his long service to ACCA,” said Paul Cabaj. “We wish him the very best.”

“It has been a privilege to serve on the ACCA board over the years. I have enjoyed my tenure”. Says Randy “And, of course, the time working closely with Paul as he worked endlessly to push ACCA forward. The level of talent and commitment of board members, staff, and allies surrounding ACCA has helped us move through significant growth and change. They are the heart and soul of the Alberta co-op movement, and without them achieving what we did would have been impossible. I am grateful to them for their work and dedication.”

In addition to the deep appreciation for the faithful service Randy provided. ACCA would also like to extend a sincere thanks to the Federation of Alberta Gas Co-operative for supporting his role as chair for these many years.
