Co-op Week is fast approaching and ACCA is excited to announce a special online conference event being co-hosted with the BC Co-operative Association (BCCA). ACCA and BCCA are proud to offer this thought-provoking two-hour session that explores the factors that will impact the co-operative sector, and your members, over the next 18 months.

Thanks to a COVID-19 recovery grant from The Co-operators, we are building tools to help co-operatives grow through acquiring businesses that could be exiting the local economy. To ensure these tools meets the needs of co-operatives and credit unions we would appreciate your input.

The Co-operative Intelligence Unit (CIU) has released its thought-provoking paper, Co-operatives in the time of COVID-19, that examines the COVID and post-pandemic world from a variety of perspectives and drivers of change.

Alberta Community and Co-operative Association (ACCA), along with Tapestry Community Capital, is hosting a one-hour webinar to introduce organizations to the concept of community bonds.

YYC Growers and Distributors has joined ACCA to be a more visible member of the co-operative community.

A paper being developed by multiple participants discussing COVID-19 and the impacts and opportunities for co-operatives will be a key component of one of the 2020 ACCA Gathering sessions.
